About the role
Teklehaimanot General Hospital is looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Staff Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit. You will provide direct, round-the-clock care to critically ill patients as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Operate and monitor life-support and other medical equipment
- Maintain accurate, timely patient records
- Collaborate with physicians and the wider care team on treatment plans
Requirements
- BSc in Nursing (or equivalent diploma with relevant experience)
- Valid nursing license from the Ethiopian Food, Medicine and Healthcare Administration and Control Authority
- Minimum 2 years of ICU or critical care experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work rotating shifts
- BLS/ACLS certification is an advantage
